What is the identified problem?

Tremendous increase of traffic resulting in pollution, accidents etc.

Brief about Solution

Need for reducing the traffic complexity:

  • To ensure safe and quick journey
  • To avoid the accident rates.
  • To increase the economy of the government by increasing the usage of public transport
  • To give a nearly pollution free environment to the future generations.
The use of public transport has decreased due to increased use of own vehicles. This has increased the traffic complexity a lot in our heterogeneous traffic. So Government should take measures to attract users in a way to use Public transportation.
By using the mass transit system we can reduce the traffic congestion to a great extent.RUBBERNECKING IS VERY DANGEROUS. It delays the rescue process.
One can contribute to reduce the environmental pollution be decreasing the use of motor vehicles. Using bicycles or taking a walk is better for shorter distances. It is even good for HEALTH!!!
Online Shopping reduces the traffic in the peak hours during evening. There is no need of going out and waiting long hours for shopping.Exercising the home delivery options is also a good thing.
GPS offers a nice solution for finding the congested roads.Hence one can avoid them and go for an alternative route. This results in the reduction of traffic congestion and traffic jams.
Incorporation of  technology in providing solutions to our problem. Sensors can be used to regulate the traffic which offers a free flow of traffic. The process is discussed in the presentation in detail.
Following traffic rules, avoiding chicken-games etc can also account for the reduction of traffic congestion.
Though our methods seem to be simple they are of great consideration. Every sector of society is involved in this. It has a great impact on the reduction of traffic complexity
Our ideas does not harm the environment to possible extent.

How well does the proposed solution enable great commuter experience?

Commuter's satisfaction and safety is our primary concern. So our solution is very much beneficial to the commuter. The solutions are practicable even by a common man.

How attractive is this idea for partners from transportation, business, government, non profit or other sectors to get involved?

As our ideas are simple and user friendly. It easily grabs the attention of all categories of people. There is no matter of construction of new infrastructure. More even our solution provides a good revenue to the government as we focused on increasing the public transportation.

Environmental impact, whether the proposed idea in predominantly service based without adding more physical structures

As no new construction is involved our solution is eco friendly. we have also recommended the use of bicycles instead of motor vehicles whenever possible. This reduces the pollution and fuel consumption. Online shopping prevents the use of currency directly. We can pay them online. So there is no question of using the paper currency. We are saving the trees!!!!!
