Sustainable Technology In Renovation Of Infrastructure

What is the identified problem?

In this study we have included air pollution, sound pollution,water pollution, global warming, natural disaster, power supply, transportation, traffic, congestion in cities and waste management in industry .

Brief about Solution

As we know infrastructure boom is going in India. A lot of infrastructure project has been proposed by the government. We know construction industry creates a lot of environmental losses & we also know that after implementation of these projects the overall problems can't be solved. Due to environmental losses we can get impact of natural disasters and this is a serious problem which can't be stopped by humans.We can't provide a complete solution for these issues but we can implement these projects in such a way that we create less environmental losses. Being environmental friendly is most important thing for all the species. In renovation of infrastructure we can apply sustainable technology. There is one benefit of implementing sustainable technology that if we apply it for one problem it will provide solution for another problem indirectly. As we know in power sector there is a huge gap in demand supply chain. By applying solar & wind plant implementation we can overcome it. This will decrease demand supply gap and as well as air pollution & it will be economically for industries in peak hours. If we study about disaster management we come to know that implementing sustainable technology we can overcome disaster problems(floods, land sliding, earthquakes etc.) & as well as we can get pure air for  breathing. these are the major issues for a urban area or it may be a rural area. If we study about traffic problems we can provide solution based on latest technology but it is hard to implement a technology if we are not aware of it. So we have to make solutions accordingly. If we are going for traffic issue in a city we know power lines in these area creates problem, so we can make underground power distribution in these area. We can use latest solar paints by implementing this we are not needing lights on roads anymore. Waste management should be done on the same place where we are producing waste. this lead to decrease air pollution caused by transportation, emission of harmful gases etc. By implementing sustainable technology for these issues it lead to decrease in global carbon dioxide emission. This lead to solve global warming issues. So we come to a conclusion that by implementing sustainable technology we can get solution for every problem directly or indirectly. We can imagine our earth to be friendly with every species.

How well does the proposed solution enable great commuter experience?

Implementation of sustainable technology is in boom in European countries. In Turkey it has been applied for making a man made island. After facing a harmful natural disaster they planned an island based on sustainable technology. The island was designed in such a way that they planned a forest island touching to sea. This lead to decrease in floods & earthquakes. So they are making a solution to natural disaster by implementing sustainable technology. Here we are renovating infrastructure based on this technology. So, it is an innovative idea to create a friendly environment.

How attractive is this idea for partners from transportation, business, government, non profit or other sectors to get involved?

This is a well planed idea which can provide benefit to everyone related to environmental & infrastructure sector. Non profit can play a leading role in making awareness whereas transportation, business, government can play a role in investment & implementation of renovation of projects.

Environmental impact, whether the proposed idea in predominantly service based without adding more physical structures

This idea is not adding more physical structure but providing solutions by making renovation of existing infrastructure with the help of sustainable technology. This will provide a most effective impact on our environment.
