With over 130,000 deaths annually, the country has overtaken China and now has the worst road traffic accident rate worldwide. This has been revealed by the World Health Organization (WHO) in its first ever Global Status Report on Road Safety. The report pointed to speeding, drunk driving and low use of helmets, seat belts and child restraints in vehicles as the main contributing factors .Every hour, 40 people under the age of 25 die in road accidents around the globe. According to the WHO, this is the second most important cause of death for 5 to 29 year olds. In India alone, the death toll rose to 14 per hour in 2009 as opposed to 13 the previous year. The total number of deaths every year due to road accidents has now passed the 135,000 mark, according to the latest report of National Crime Records Bureau or NCRB. While trucks and two-wheelers were responsible for over 40 per cent of deaths, peak traffic during the afternoon and evening rush hours is the most dangerous time to be on the roads. Drunken driving is a major factor;-The NCRB report further states that drunken driving was a major factor for road accidents. after being through the above data and reports our team have emphasised on steps that can help in reducing the number of accidents and so do the ways by which we can save the lives.

Brief about Solution

Since the need of an hour is to look out for the measures by which we can save the number f lives and so do reduce the number of accidents. So our team have mainly emphasized on 3 things that will launch in the market
1) Helmet:- Since helmet can help in avoiding the major wounds. So thats way have designed the helmet which will remain connected with our bike and if someone will not wear the helmet bike will not often .
We have been acquainted with the cases like some people do take helmet in the hand and do wear them while they see police so we have designed our helmet in such a way that until and unless the person who are sitting in the bike will not wear helmet bike will not run.
2) Active Kit:- Active kit is basically a kit that will also be fitted in our vehicle and what that kit will do is it will not allow our vehicle to cross the signal if the traffic light has been turned to red. Our vehicle will be able to cross the road only when the traffic light will turn to green.
The above two projects are ready and are based on Radio-Frequency
Since we are using non-renewable sources of energy and that is also present in a limited amount so the need on an hour is to switch our priorities from non renewable sources of energy to renewable sources.
1)Hydrogen Kit:- By using this kit our bike will run using water and it will increase the efficiency of our fuel to.
**this project is also ready
